New PSA Series for Riverside County Fire Chiefs

The California Fire Prevention Organization video team has developed a series of public service announcements for the Riverside County Fire Chiefs. The short video clips cover kitchen fires and anti-drowning messaging. Drowning has become a year-round tragic reality for many communities. And, as most house fires start in the kitchen, getting the word out about reducing the threat to kitchen fires is an essential outreach message.

Coordinated by Murietta Fire Chief Scott Ferguson, video PSAs were produced for:

Riverside City Fire Department

Murietta Fire Department

Cathedral City Fire Department

Palm Springs Fire Department

CalFire Riverside

Rincon Fire Department

March Field Fire Emergency Services

Corona Fire Department

Severe Drought Continues in CA

About Us

The California Fire Prevention Organization is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) public benefit organization. We partner with cities, fire agencies and other non-profits throughout the State to deliver services and programs designed to bolster community resilience. Our wildfire, fire safety, earthquake, and first aid education, and training will save lives, and help to build a stronger California. We operate with grants and gifts, and do not take funds from a fire department’s general fund. Our highly trained members are first responders (EMS, FIRE, Etc.) and work diligently to support the communities in which we work.
